Lights Camera Action!

Last week, team Val hosted the exclusive cinematic showcase, FilmFronts, which had our esteemed client and agency partners join us to dive into the epic line-up of the biggest blockbusters coming to the silver screen over the next six months and hear firsthand how brands can align with these cultural moments to reach high-value and hard-to-reach audiences across youth, ABs and families.

Underpinned by box office smash hits such as Avatar: The Way of Water, which has claimed the third spot on the list of highest-grossing films of all time, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which is poised to become the highest-grossing animated film ever in Australia, H2's cinema slate is well and truly heating up.

From family blockbusters including Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Elemental, to action and adventure blockbusters including Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, The Marvels, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning – Part One, Dune: Part Two, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbird & Snakes and Wonka, these larger-than-life storylines, featuring iconic characters, wicked villains, and irresistible Hollywood heartthrobs, are sure to draw crowds in droves. Shaping up to take the spotlight as two of the biggest cultural events of the year is Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, which has already taken the world by storm, and DC’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which has the highest audience forecast of the year.

With an extended behind-the-scenes look at the biggest stunt in cinema history performed by Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning – Part One, and a look into trailers of these highly anticipated Hollywood hits, audiences were hit with bold, big-screen action keeping them on the edge of their seats throughout the event.
