Disney and Pixar’s Elemental Will Be Closing Out The 76th Cannes Film Festival.

Pixar Animation Studios have recently announced that Elemental will be making its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The all-new, original feature film will have the honour of closing out the 76th Festival de Cannes, which will be held from May 16 - 27.

The heartfelt family blockbuster is expected to be highly artistic, moving, engaging and vibrant, transporting moviegoers to an extraordinary place called Element City, where a host of elements live and work. The plot follows an unexpected friendship of Ember, a witty, fiery young woman from the fire-side of town and Wade, a chill, go-with the flow young man from the water-side. He challenges her beliefs and perspectives about life and the world they live in, delivering the central message that our differences are what bring us together.
