All You Need to Know About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

The pizza-loving, crime-fighting turtles are back in an exciting new animated blockbuster. The beloved saga of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael continues with this highly anticipated film from Paramount, Nickelodeon and Point Grey Pictures. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem promises to be an innovative reimagining of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles canon, filled with fresh surprises.

Directed by Jeff Rowe, who co-directed the acclaimed film The Mitchells Vs The Machines, and written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, this animated blockbuster is set to captivate audiences with its unique vision. Rogen and Goldberg's affinity for the Ninja Turtles traces back to their shared childhood, where they were avid fans of the animated series.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’s distinctive visual style sets it apart. The animation adopts a scratchy, sketchy, and doodly pencil technique, closely following the look and feel of the original Turtles comics. Rogen describes the movie as infused with teenage energy, where creativity knows no bounds and pushes beyond conventional limits. Rogen himself promises that there won't be a single dull moment in the entire film.

The talented cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem includes young actors Nicolas Cantu, Shamon Brown Jr, Micah Abbey, and Brady Noon voicing the turtles. Ayo Edebiri, known for her roles on Big Mouth and The Bear, joins as April O'Neil. Seth Rogen and John Cena bring the comedic villainy to life as Bebop and Rocksteady. Big names like Post Malone, Hannibal Buress, Ice Cube, and Rose Byrne will also voice mutated animals. And watch out for Giancarlo Esposito as the film's main antagonist, the sinister scientist Baxter Stockman.

As a result of Seth Rogen's interest in exploring teenage energy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will unfold as a coming-of-age tale, reminiscent of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. While the Turtles continue their crime-fighting adventures in New York City, the movie will delve into their formative experiences, showcasing their mischievous adolescent behaviour before they fully embrace their roles as defenders of the city. As expected, April O'Neill will remain a loyal ally to the Turtles, and Baxter Stockman will harbour ambitiously evil plans that will shape the fate of the city. The Turtles will also face off against numerous other mutated animals.

And let's not forget about the mind-blowing soundtrack. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the musical masterminds from Nine Inch Nails, are taking the reins on this one. They’re no strangers to success, having won Academy Awards and Grammys for their amazing work. With their talent, you can bet your shell that the soundtrack will be out of this world.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to draw in the crowds with its release on September 7. Find out more about the film here.
