Alright, spill the tea: How did you find yourself in the advertising industry, and what’s been the best part of your journey at Val Morgan Cinema so far?
My dad worked in Marketing for Masters Milk & Pepsi when I was little, and I eventually found myself pursuing a Marketing & Advertising degree at university while also working part-time in a sales role. My passions led me to this career, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have landed the job at Val Morgan as a Sales Coordinator in Perth, three weeks before I finished my degree. One big interstate move and nearly four years later, I can safely say it’s been the ride of a lifetime.
If your career were a movie, which three movie titles would best capture its essence, and why did you choose them?
The Social Network – a massive part of my job is socialising with my wonderful clients and building a network – I love it!
Million Dollar Baby – the name of the game is driving the best results possible!
The Greatest Showman – our team is constantly singing and dancing in the office – we really could star in our own Broadway production.
Midday recharge: Would you prefer a power nap in a cozy office hammock or a brisk stroll to explore the best local lunch spots? How does your ideal lunch break reflect your approach to work-life balance?
I’m a massive fan of a lunch-time hot lap. Whether it be around the block or Hyde Park, it’s the perfect mental refresh I need to focus in on the next half of the day. And of course, a cheeky pub lunch every now and then for balance.
If your work ethic were a culinary creation, would it be a bold spicy curry, a comforting bowl of soup, or a zesty fruit salad? How does this dish mirror your approach to work?
The best meal to describe my work ethic would be girl dinner – a little bit of everything! I am notorious for working through lots of different tasks at one time.
If your Teams background had a mind of its own, what whimsical scene or surreal landscape would it choose during your next virtual meeting?
A beautiful beach on the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia. Mentally that’s my happy place and where I would love to work from home.
