I started in the Graduate Program, where I had the opportunity to experience all facets in the business, across Val Morgan Cinema, VMO and Val Morgan Digital, before landing a permanent role in the Val Morgan Digital business.

My time in the program helped shaped my understanding of how we function and operate as a group, as well as form the foundation of my skillset and knowledge in media.

After landing a full time role as a Sales Coordinator, I then moved into an Account Executive role where I found my passion building relationships with clients. To top that off, coming into work is always such a good time, with our incredible team culture and exciting internal events, it makes coming into work something I look forward to every week.

From rotating though the creative side of the business and watching ideas being developed and come to life, to the technical side of operations and scheduling, the graduate program helped develop my understanding of different facets of each department and the media industry.

An integral part of my development and growing my passion of media, was having the opportunity to learn from diverse people which propelled me into a permanent Sales Coordinator role within VMO.

Each day brings me fresh sets of challenges and opportunities, from Photoshop work and campaign reporting, to attending client presentations and events. This diversity keeps me engaged and constantly learning, making each day exciting and fulfilling.

Coming into this position I really knew nothing about the media industry, and I had worked various hospitality and retail jobs without any corporate experience. The graduate role was a perfect first step into the world of media.

During my time as a grad, I was able to gain a deep understanding of the industry by rotating through various sales departments in Va Morgan Cinema, Val Morgan Digital and VMO but spent most of my time in the group strategy team, Brandfit. This was where I felt myself best suited and really enjoyed the role.

I was fortunate enough to end up with a permanent position in this amazing team and am super grateful for the knowledge and understanding I gained from my graduate role.

As someone fresh out of uni without a real understanding of what I wanted to do I was told about the graduate program by a friend and thought it was a great chance to learn about all the different departments and what they offer. During the program I rotated throughout the business but most of my time was spent in the Val Morgan Cinema team.

My time was spent with an amazing team where I learnt a lot about personal development and the media industry as a whole. After 7 months in the program I started a permanent role in the VMO team which shows Val Morgan’s passion for developing and retaining the grads

The Graduate Program has given me the opportunity to build an understanding of the media industry through exposure to new opportunities and exploration of all areas of the company, from sales, commercial to operations. In this time, I’ve confidently developed a succinct understanding of the company.

A crucial part of my own progress has included learning from different teams and being challenged each week to take on new tasks. I’ve been fortunate to get to know different people and experience working alongside fantastic mentors who have their own unique experiences, strengths and passion for the industry. In taking on new challenges, I have learned what areas of the business appeal to me most and further discovered my own strengths

I started my journey in the media industry without any prior experience, and I’m grateful to have landed a role as a graduate and later as a Programmatic Sales Executive on the Val Morgan Digital team. My time as a graduate opened my eyes to various roles within the business, helping me gain a deeper understanding of how different teams collaborate to achieve our common goals.

I really appreciated the variety in my day-to-day work, which kept things interesting and presented me with new challenges. This experience allowed me to develop a diverse skill set in client management, finance, presentations, and creative thinking. I’ve truly enjoyed collaborating with everyone at Val Morgan, and I feel fortunate to be part of a company that values such a strong team culture
